Bukom Drainage Inspection
1. Obtain drainage layout drawings.
2. Initially, identify pipes of diameter 600mm and above for inspection. Depending on quantities and costs
the inspection could extend to smaller pipes or those which can be identified as potential trouble areas.
3. Identify pipeline custodian, i.e. whether they are in AREA 1/2/3 or 4.
4. Visit site to identified the type of manhole covers used for each of the manholes and ascertain whether
mechanical means will be needed to open the manholes.
5. Identify the flow origin for each of the pipes and ascertain hazards which may be present, e.g. type of gas.

6. Prepare a list of inspection methods with their advantages & disadvantages and decide which method(s)
should be used.
7. Prepare specifications for contractor bidding. Workscope and report format.
8. Tendering and award.

我五个月的工作表，看看有这么多事要做,心里还真有点毛。当然做的多，学的也多。
到现在为止，我才做到第一部分的2。这个礼拜的工作就是看图。50张A1的图纸，把我的眼力好好锻炼了一下。在密密麻麻的图标中找出直径大于600mm的水管，按水管中流经的不同液体给它上色区分，再量出sump之间的距离。
看似简单的工作，做上一个礼拜也会麻木的。现在我看到马路上的白色broken line，第一反应就是图纸上的C.O.C (Continuous oil contaminated) pipe，看到黑白相间的broken line就会联想到oil free pipe，像卓别林演的那个旋螺丝的工人，已经有点神经质了。
